Like finding the right cup of coffee on a Sunday morning, your perfect ring should feel absolutely meant for you. That's why at Chasing Victory, Jonathan works with you to create rings that tell your story.
How We Create Your Ring
Start your custom ring
Napkin sketch, 2 a.m. Pinterest board, or “I want a whiskey barrel and a stone she already owns” — that is enough. Jonathan will tell you what will last on a hand and what will fight you in the workshop.
Two steps:
- Fill in the form at the bottom of the page so he is not guessing.
- Reserve the bench with a $250 design deposit. It comes off your final invoice. If we cannot design something you love, the deposit is refunded. Once CAD is approved and wax is cut, the deposit is applied to the ring and the piece is made to order.
Classic unaltered designs can still be ordered from the shop. This path is for rings that do not exist until you and Jonathan invent them.
The Digital Preview
Ever played with 3D models? Jonathan does something similar, but for your ring. Using computer-aided design (CAD), Jonathan creates a detailed preview that shows your ring from every angle. Want the stones a bit closer together? The band a touch wider? This is where we get it just right.
The Wax Model
Here's where things get interesting. Before working with precious metals, Jonathan creates a wax model of your ring. It's like a dress rehearsal before the big show – making sure everything fits and looks exactly as you imagined.
The Metal Magic
Using a technique that's been around longer than sliced bread (literally), Jonathan casts your ring in your chosen metal. Whether you're a classic gold person or prefer the modern look of platinum, this is where your ring starts becoming real.
Adding the Sparkle
This is the part where Jonathan turns into a watchmaker – carefully setting stones, smoothing edges, and adding those final touches that make your ring special. Whether it's diamonds, sapphires, or that unique piece of wood you chose, each element is placed with the kind of attention usually reserved for defusing bombs (but much more enjoyable).
The Grand Finale
Your finished ring arrives safely packaged and ready to start its story with you. No fancy Roman courier required – just reliable, shipping straight to your door.
